Introduction

There are a great many legal papers and forms involved in matters of the Family Court. You may think it is just a lot of 'red tape', but matters relating to any Court proceeding must be highly accurate and everything must be carefully recorded. Having standard forms helps to ensure that the Court has everything it might need to consider and resolve each matter it is asked to deal with. Doing things the correct way (using the right forms) is actually the only way when it comes to legal matters!

Your lawyer or legal advisor may help you to complete any forms required by the Court for the family issue you are concerned with. Although most forms are self explanatory, we have provided some general guidance for you here . . .

To make it easier for anyone wanting to access a particular form for a Family Court matter, we have grouped the forms according to their legal subject matter. For example, all the forms relating to property matters are under "Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988."
